There's a reason why people have friends.
You can count the so many times that you can bend over and be someone's intellectual slave. In a company, in a relationship and sometimes, just simply being acquainted with one person.
But your friend will always appreciate the intellectual quirks and quips that you dish out without being bored and/or being bemused and will digest it for you. In some extreme circumstances, you even find it treasured.
